Add a new domain

We recommend first creating your main domain and then adding the required subdomains. When creating the domain, it is verified once, and an SSL wildcard certificate is generated. When setting up additional subdomains, there is no need to re-verify them, and you can use the SSL certificate already issued for the main domain.
If you want to optimize traffic through smoxy for only a subdomain for testing purposes, that's not a problem. Smoxy is only active for your main domain when you finalize the traffic redirection by adding another CNAME record in your DNS configuration. This doesn't happen during domain verification and SSL certificate creation.
First, create the main domain, for example, example.com.
Verify the main domain and generate an SSL certificate.
Now, create your subdomains, for example, stage.example.com.
To add a new domain, click the button in the Domain-Overview.
A pop-up window will open where you enter the name of your domain. Confirm the action by clicking the Add Domain button.
After successful entry, you will see your domain in the overview and can edit it by clicking on the domain name.
To verify that you are the owner of the domain, you need to verify it through a TXT record in your domain's DNS configuration. All the necessary details will be provided to you.
If you are using Cloudflare, the Cloudflare proxy for this DNS record must be disabled! Example of the DNS entry for creating an SSL certificate. For more information about configuring Cloudflare, see Cloudflare Setup.
To create the SSL certificate, you need to add a CNAME record in your domain's DNS configuration. Click on the Generate SSL button afterward.
